Hey, interesting. So this is the secret behind Coca Cola’s marketing strategy. Okay, so initial thoughts are I’ve got very strong views on Coca Cola, and I like it. I don’t drink caffeine anymore. I haven’t drank caffeine for nearly 20 years. So Coke, Coca Cola isn’t really a product that I’m interested in. I’ve got a really strong opinion on this idea of marketing secrets. I think the secret to marketing is learn as much as you possibly can about it. Learn as much as you possibly can about your market. That’s what marketing is, and then do some marketing. That’s the secret and then I think you will be much more successful. So there’s two things here that getting my go a little bit right off the bat.

Martin Henley 02:37

The first is don’t particularly enjoy Coca Cola, don’t enjoy it at all. In fact, that’s not true. I remember how amazing it is when you’re really thirsty and you get a really nice cold coke. You know, that is amazing that combination of coldness and sugarness and all of that stuff and maybe the caffeine and also I remember how delicious it is. I just don’t partake anymore and I’m not big on secrets. Anyway, enough for me. Let’s see about the secrets to Coca Cola’s marketing strategies.

Narrator 03:36

Coca Cola was first invented within an Atlanta based pharmacy by Dr. John Pemberton in May 1886, initially sold at local soda fountain counters, growing demand and the idea of making the beverage portable, led to bottling sparkling drink. In its first year, Pemberton sold just nine glasses of Coca Cola a day for five cents a glass.
